ASUS had announced the Zenwatch 2 at the Computex event back in June this year. But there was no mention on the pricing of the watch. But at the IFA 2015, the company had confirmed that the smartwatch will be available starting $170 in October.
ZenWatch 2 is also the first Android Wear smartwatch to offering users a choice of sizes: you can choose between a 49mm-tall stainless steel case or a 45mm one.
The 49mm variant will cost you €169 ($190), with the smaller version set at €149 (roughly $170). Apart from the display size, rest all specs remain the same for both the devices and they come with AMOLED displays, Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and IP67 water resistance.
ZenWatch 2 is also offering a slew of colors to choose from including Silver, gunmetal, or rose gold and this can be color-matched with a stainless steel strap. With the addition of brightly colored rubber straps and a number of leather options including khaki, the company is offering a total of 18 different combinations of materials and colors for the ZenWatch 2.
ZenWatch 2 also comes protected with Gorilla Glass 3 on the display.
