If you been waiting for a new hardware from Fitbit, we have some news to put a smile on your face. A leaked document shows at least 2 new devices coming from Fitbit, of which one includes a hear rate monitoring.
Now, I am more interested in the ChargeHR because of the HRM. Fitbit users always wanted to have an HRM and this addresses that. Good for the company, else they would have been left behind the race. Here is the list of features which is in the image above.
- PurePulse continuous, wrist-based heart rate for better calorie tracking & cardio training
- Tracks steps, distance, calories burned, floors climbed, active minutes & 24/7 heart rate
- Use with MobileRun on the Fitbit App to see run stats
- Displays activity + run stats, time, & caller ID
- Monitors sleep quality
- Silent, vibrating alarm
- Water resistant
The Fitbit Charger is regarding of theĀ Force version which unfortunately got many people rashes on their wrist because of the Nickel used. Its coming back and we hope the issue has been resolved. It will have same feature as Force, but probably with some upgrades, internally.
- Tracks steps, distance, calories burned, floors climbed, & active minutes
- Displays stats, time, & caller ID
- Monitors sleep quality
- Silent, vibrating alarm
- Water resistant
Gizmodo, who broke this story, also reports that the Russian retailer has priced it at USD 185 for Charge and USD 220 for chargeHR, while the force was only $130.
