Lenovo has entered the wearable segment with the new Vibe Band VB10 announced at the CES 2015. Lenovo VB10 comes with an E-Ink display, which will enable a 7 day battery life and is essentially, the “charge-and-forget” experience all wearables should have. Feature wise, the VB10 is waterproof and the smart wristband offers watch-faces, fitness monitors and smartphone notifications.
Since the device has E Ink display there wont be any glare on the display and an always clear picture, even under bright sunlight.
The display has room for up to 150 characters on the screen, which should be enough for glancing at your calls, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, WeChat notifications and such. Here is the spec sheet of Vibe Band.
The band will be sold in April for $89, but the band will not be making an entry into US just like the Vibe branded smartphones.
