Microsoft releases OneNote for Android Wear

Android Wear is the OS from Google which is powering the new smartwatches and there are quite a lot of apps coming in supporting the platform. Microsoft has today announced the availability of OneNote for Android Wear. So with this release, any Android Wear powered smartwatches will be able to record notes using OneNote by saying “OK Google, take a note”.

The app is available for download from the store. You need an Android phone running Android 4.3 or higher, compatible with Android Wear, and an Android Wear watch.

All you need to do is to install the app from the Play store and start dictating your notes using your smartwatch. You can say “Take a note” and start dictating; the app will transcribe everything you say and save it into your Quick Notes. The app requires OneNote for Android to be installed on your phone.
