Misfit’s Speedo Shine Costs $79.99 & is up for Sale

Misfit Announced Fitness tracker for Swimmers–Speedo Shine–a couple of days ago, and the product is now up for sale. Its priced at $79. While the product looks exactly like Shine ($69.99), it comes with proprietary lap counting algorithms embedded in the device’s firmware track a swimmer’s lap count with industry-leading accuracy, as validated by Speedo in-pool testing at their advanced development facility, the Aqualab, and work for all stroke types.

The product is both available online, and at Misfit Store, Speedo USA, and Apple Stores.

The product is in partnership with Speedo International Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of swimwear and swim-related accessories based in Nottingham, UK.

Misfit Speedo Shine

The tracker syncs with the Misfit app for iOS and Android and displays laps and swim distance, along with calories burned and points earned. The device will soon also work with Speedo’s personalized swim tracking app, Speedo Fit.

Speedo Shine is made out of durable and beautiful aircraft-grade aluminum and is offered in new light silver color, Pure. Like the original Misfit Shine, Speedo Shine is waterproof to 50 meters. Extremely thin and comfortable, the device is meant to be worn both in and out of the water, and also tracks walking, running, cycling, and light and deep sleep

I have been using Shine from sometime, and have really loved the product because of it being almost invisible and there is no need to charge it uo every week. These are huge plus for any fitness tracker.
