Plugzee: A Battery Powered Wireless Adapter for Wired Speakers

In the age of wireless systems, if you have a speaker or a car without Bluetooth connection, it becomes a little painful. While you can say that it can be upgraded by plugging in a custom Bluetooth solution, but it wont be universal. This is where Plugzee comes into play.

Plugzee Bluetooth Adpter Battery Speaker

Its a Bluetooth (Wireless) adapter which connects with any speaker over 3.5 mm Audio Jack, and lets you stream music from your phone or tablet the way you want.  The best part of the adapter is that its battery powered which makes sure you don’t need a power jack for itself and can be charged using any standard micro USB charging adapter which can be found in cars or home. This is what impressed me, and it makes it really portable.

Plugzee uses a power efficient Bluetooth 4.0 LE module that lets you seamlessly pair any generation Bluetooth device with the press of a button. The AptX streaming lets you stream high-resolution music over Bluetooth. It also comes with noise cancellation microphone which will give you hands free experience and effortlessly answer your calls over loudspeaker or take control of your phone by with a shout out to Siri or Google Voice Search

Plugzeee Car

Plugzee comes with a Lithium-ion battery that lets you stream music for up to 18 hours on a single charge with a standby time of 30 days.

Where to buy it from?

That said, its being developed by an Indian Startup with 4 guys working together. They have a prototype already done and promise to deliver the product by July 2015. Below is the video to convince you even further. They are crowdsourcing the project to get this done, so if you wish to contribute, follow this link.
