Rufus Cuff — World’s First Wrist Communicator

Smartwatches are gaining popularity and we are seeing most of the tech companies working on smartwatches. We are expecting to see lot of new smartwatches coming this year especially with Google announcing Android Wear. There are also many successfully funded campaigns in Indiegogo and Kickstarter based on smartwatch concept.

Rufus Cuff is another smartwatch concept, but it is more than a smartwatch and company calls it the world’s first Wrist Communicator. You can access the Web, your emails email, fitness tracking, messaging, voice or video calls, all on your wrist using Rufus Cuff.

Rufus Cuff

The device comes with a 3 inch display and runs on Android similar to any other wearable smartwatch. With its built-in mic, speaker, and camera, you can answer and place voice or video calls right from your wrist and your connected iPhone or Android smartphone. If you don’t want your call overheard, simply switch off the speaker and continue by holding your wrist up to your ear or put the call back on your smartphone.

Since it runs Android similar to your Android phone, it can install apps like Skype or Instagram and you can share your photos with it. It can act as an independent device and connect to Wi-Fi and you can browse the web along with ability to connect to iPhones and Android phones.
