Take Photos on your phone remotely using connected Android Wear watch

Google had released the camera app for Android phone quite long time back and now the app has been updated to support Android Wear. So this means you can use your Android wear watch to capture photos using the Google Camera app on your Android smartphone. This feature of remote shutter functionality is available in Google Camera version 2.3 which was rolled out by Google.

To make this work, users will need to open the Google Camera app on their phone or tablet, and Wear will automatically insert a card for remote capture on your watch. When you click that card on your watch, it gets you a big shutter release button right on your wrist. The interface will count down for three seconds, capture, and then show you the results.

As of now this functionality will only work with Google’s Camera app since it contains a mini APK specifically for the purpose.

This feature is pretty handy if you want to take photos remotely with your smartphone connected to your watch. You can download the camera app from Google Play store or use this link.
