Windows 10 To Support Home Automation; API Shows Lamps & WiFi Direct

Windows 10, the ONE platform for every device, which Microsoft announced 2 days back, seems to be coming with Home Automation support, built into the core.  As discovered by Justin Angel, previously with Nokia, posted screenshots of the API which has terms like Lamp and WiFi Direct Services. There is a namespace in the library as Lights with Lamps as class in it.

This makes a lot of sense, keeping in mind, Microsoft has unified the platform, and Windows can be used anywhere. It can be on your desktop or on Xbox or even on your Phone.  It will be easy for app developers to get the apps done quickly and easily to let users manage their smart home. We will be coming back with more details on this, and keep you all posted about it.
