ZTE, a popular Chinese company, which makes smartphones has announced a new smartwatch in China. ZTE Axon Watch is the new smartwatch from the company which looks like traditional watch, but comes with some great features. The Axon watch features a 1.4-inch sapphire-coated display and runs on Tencent OS instead of Android Wear. Tencent OS is a new operating system for smartwatches, TVs and other Internet-connected devices which was announced few months back.
Apart from this, Axon Watch also comes with Bluetooth 4.1, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage and a 300mAh battery. The Watch comes with gesture control as well as basics like phone calls, messaging and fitness tracking. The watch also has quad-core 1.2GHz processor and support heart rate monitor.
There is no word on the pricing of this watch yet. The watch has IP certification and is dust and water resistant.
